General Compliance Training

As required by °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ policies and procedures, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia Policy Manual and Business Procedures Manual, as well as applicable federal and state laws, all °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ employees are required to annually complete mandatory training via approved online learning platforms. New employees are required to complete this training during the first month of employment at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾.

Annual Mandatory Training Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
  • Right to Know Program
  • Ethics
  • Cybersecurity
  • Georgia Open Records Act
  • Preventing Discrimination and Harassment
  • Conflict of Interest

Additional Mandatory Training Courses for Select Populations include, but are not limited to:

  • Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
  • Data Governance
  • Research Training
  • Records Retention
  • Title IX
  • Clery Act Campus Security Authorities (CSAs)
  • Driver Training
  • Wex Fuel Card Training
  • Programs Serving Non-Enrolled Minors
